Library Policies

How to Visit the Library

Students will first check in with their teacher in ASC/class. They can then travel down to the library and check in on the online travel log computer (near the main doors). We are open all blocks with the exception of D Block. Students do not need a pass from me. If either myself or a library staff member is not present, students should return to their ASC.

Borrowing a Library Book

Students are permitted to take out five items at a time. Pending need, additional items may be borrowed.

Fines and late fees are not currently attached to student accounts or borrowing practices.

Students must return items in a timely fashion and must respect materials. Lost or damaged materials will need to be replaced by the student or adequate monetary compensation must be given to the library to replace lost or damaged materials.

Our loan period for print materials is two weeks, but students may renew in person or online if no holds are placed on the material by another patron.

Chromebooks are no longer available for loan through the WMHS library.
